Jackpot.de (WHOW Games)

Product Owner & Game Designer (5 Years)

Responsible for the strategic direction, continuous development, and live operations of a leading Social Casino (Jackpot.de / MyJackpot). My core mission: striking the perfect balance between creative game design, user-centric experiences, and business KPIs.

Feature Delivery & Team Alignment

From the initial spark to a successful release: I developed concepts and comprehensive briefings for new features, sales mechanics, and in-game events. Guiding the entire pre-production and production phases, I acted as the central hub aligning cross-functional teams, ranging from Art and Dev to QA, Support, Marketing, and Localization. A vital part of my role was stakeholder management, ensuring maximum transparency for the product roadmap through regular presentations to upper management and company-wide all-hands meetings.

Data-Driven Live-Ops & Game Design

Launching a feature is just the beginning. In daily live-ops, I continuously managed and optimized the live product. Gut feeling is great, but data is better: working closely with the BI and Data departments, I designed and evaluated hypothesis-driven A/B tests. This data-informed approach allowed us to iterate on features, tweak monetization, and build systems that simultaneously engage players and drive business growth.

BINJI

Co-Founder & Game Designer (2013 – 2020)

Co-founded an independent game studio and GbR alongside my brother. For seven years, we bootstrapped our way through the industry, balancing the passion of developing our own indie titles with delivering bespoke gamification projects for corporate clients. A journey defined by full-cycle development, entrepreneurial hustle, and creative problem-solving.

Crafting Indie Experiences: Botlike

Our flagship passion project was Botlike – A Robot's Rampage. Operating as a micro-studio meant wearing multiple hats: I drove the core game design, system balancing, character- and level design and overall project management. We successfully took the game from its first prototype all the way to a Steam Early Access release, securing 2,000 unit sales. It was a hands-on masterclass in building a game from scratch, engaging directly with a player base, and actually shipping a product to market. While the game isn't live anymore, you can watch one of the many gameplay videos on youtube:

B2B Gamification & Client Projects

To fund our indie ambitions, we operated as a self-sustaining agency. I handled client relations, pitched concepts, and designed tailored gamification apps and smaller game projects for advertising agencies and corporate clients. While strict NDAs keep these specific projects behind closed doors, this B2B work heavily honed my ability to adapt to diverse brand requirements, manage tight budgets, and deliver polished software on strict deadlines.

Passion Projects

Creator & Hobbyist

While my professional life revolves around game design and product management, my drive to create extends far beyond the office. This space is dedicated to my personal sandbox.
A place for absolute creative freedom, experimenting with different media, and making things purely for the fun of it.

YouTube & Creative Experiments

I use my YouTube channel as a digital archive for a eclectic mix of hobby projects. It’s a small, slowly filling collection that documents whatever currently sparks my curiosity. The content ranges entirely outside my professional scope, from exploring AI music and video editing projects to showcasing a physical, self-printed memory game. It’s simply my space to test out new tools, play around with different formats, and enjoy the creative process without any commercial constraints.

Greedy Mr. Humble

Fun (and very silly) Side Project

"Greedy Mr. Humble" is an experimental YouTube channel I created recently to explore the absurd and surreal side of storytelling. Inspired by chaotic, late-night TV sketch comedy, it serves as a creative sandbox for rapid, AI-assisted 2D animation and unconventional humor. This project allows me to completely break away from traditional narrative structures,
testing the limits of new generative video tools while having fun building a bizarre,
self-contained universe purely for the joy of the process.
